  • Sustained executive resilience relies heavily on having a support system or trusted partner who believes in you through periods of uncertainty.

Building a business always looks easier from the outside, revenue climbing up and to the right hides the nights you don't know if the next funding round happens or if you have to lay people off. In a recent CEO roundtable, founders at $1 million, $10 million, $18 million, and $29 million in revenue all said the same thing, it's hard, just a different kind of hard at every level. What actually kept me moving through all of it wasn't hard work, most founders and CEOs already have that part figured out. It was having one person who believed in me more than I believed in myself, my wife telling me I could do something the night before I had no idea how to solve it, and somehow the answer showing up the next day. Loneliness is the real problem most leaders face, not effort. If you're building something right now and it feels impossible, find the person in your life who will believe in you past the point you can believe in yourself. That's what gets you to a level you couldn't have imagined on your own. ⏱ TIMESTAMPS (00:00) The most personal CEO roundtable we've ever recorded (00:18) Why building a business always looks easier than it is (00:55) CEOs at $1M, $10M, $18M, $29M, all still say it's hard (01:16) There are different levels of hard, not an absence of it (01:38) The one thing that stayed consistent through all of it (01:52) The nights I didn't know if we'd make it (02:30) Why my wife believing in me mattered more than hard work (02:55) Hard work was never the issue, loneliness was (03:23) Find someone who believes in you more than you do 📌 Subscribe for daily GTM OS strategy and leadership frameworks: https://www.youtube.com/@SangramHere?sub_confirmation=1
